What it is

A wet room is a fully waterproofed bathroom where the shower is part of the floor — no curb, no enclosure required. It's the standard solution for wheelchair access and for a clean, open bathroom design.

When you need it

• A wheelchair or walker user can't get over a standard shower curb
• A caregiver needs space to assist safely during bathing
• Existing tile shower has been leaking into the subfloor and needs a real waterproofing rebuild

What's required

We slope and waterproof the floor (sometimes the subfloor needs reframing), install a linear or center drain, and rebuild the walls with a full waterproof membrane. A 50% deposit is required and most builds take 4-7 days.
